Persistent difficulties in understanding spoken and written language (receptive language) or in verbalizing thoughts and feelings (expressive language) may indicate a language disorder.
Since oral language difficulties and delays are often linked to struggles with reading and writing, early detection, evaluation, and subsequent evidence-based treatment are essential.

Speech sound disorders occur when an individual has difficulty producing speech sounds and/or combining them to form intelligible words. Therapy is conducted with a bottom-up approach. SL2 provides one-on-one speech therapy in the following areas:
